Elite Coach Education Policy


Hockey Edmonton's Elite Stream of Play (AA & AAA) Coaches, both Head and Assistant, must adhere to the following Hockey Edmonton Elite Coach Education minimum requirements:

HOCKEY EDMONTON ELITE COACH EDUCATION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

PEEWEE AA

HEAD COACH (Hockey Alberta)

ALL ASSISTANT COACHES

Development 1, Checking Skills, Respect in Sport Activity Leader (online)

Coach 2, Checking Skills, Respect in Sport Activity Leader (online)

  • Development 1 is desired
  • Coaches must also complete the online pre-tasks for Coach 1/2 (if necessary) and Checking Skills;
  • One team official with Hockey Canada Safety.

BANTAM AA, FEMALE ELITE, MIDGET AA

HEAD COACH (Hockey Alberta)

ALL ASSISTANT COACHES

Development 1, Checking Skills, Respect in Sport Activity Leader (online)

Coach 2, Checking Skills, Respect in Sport Activity Leader (online)

  • Development 1 is desired
  • Coaches must also complete the online pre-tasks for Coach 1/2 (if necessary) and Checking Skills;
  • One team official with Hockey Canada Safety.

BANTAM AAA, FEMALE AAA, MINOR MIDGET & MIDGET AAA

High Performance 1, Checking Skills, Respect in Sport Activity Leader (online)
