Referee & RIS Reimbursement

2 Officials will be assigned and each team is responsible to pay one of the Officials with the exact change before the game.

The Official will provide a receipt which the coach can submit to Loree at Hockey Edmonton for reimbursement. The current rates are: $62 ($31/$31) for Peewee/Bantam and $72 ($36/$36) for Bantam/Midget.

Remind officials at the start of the game of the unique rules for the league (No Body Checking rule, maximum 3 goal rule, maximum 3 penalties and the no slap shots rule). You can talk to them in the Officials dressing room before the game.

Pay the officials exact change before the game so it starts on time.

Mail the original receipts with your name, address and telephone number to the office and a cheque will be mailed back to you, or you may request to pick it up..

It is a wise practise to scan your originals as they could get lost in the mail.

Respect In Sport (RIS)

Coaches are now required to be certified in the Respect In Sport Program or have already completed the Speak Out Program. Reimbursement can be submitted at the same time as the Referee Receipts.
