The First Shift makes the hockey experience possible for everyone. They provide all the equipment and necessities for the program so all you have to do is show up and get involved. The goal is to change the way hockey is offered to bring 1,000,000 new families into the sport worldwide over the next 10 years.

Hockey Edmonton will once again be hosting TWO First Shift programs.  One in the Fall (November/December) and one in the Winter (January/February).

Registration is now open!

It is first come first served and the spots fill up fast! There is a waitlist once the sessions are full.

You must register online.  We can not register you in our office.

Please note, there is a slight delay in receiving confirmation emails that registration was completed. Please be patient as this is a very popular program and the website can get very busy.  If you have not received an email from THE FIRST SHIFT confirming registration by June 8, please email office@hockeyedmonton.ca to confirm registration.

Hockey Edmonton will reach out to all registered participants about ONE WEEK before the WELCOME EVENT to remind of the event. This will also include details about the on ice sessions.  We will also update the FIRST SHIFT WEBPAGE on our website for updates.  Please check the website often to ensure you are up to date on the event.
